Hattie Larlham's community homes offer a variety of medical and support services for adult residents with disabilities in Northeast and Central Ohio.
Each community home option offers something unique to best meet the needs of residents. Comfort, independence, and support are our highest priority for the people we serve through the programs. Our excellent team of direct care and medical professionals provide the highest quality care and services to give each resident the best quality of life.
Licensed homes provide daily living, health care, and support services in a comfortable home for people with disabilities in Central Ohio.
Hattie Larlham Licensed Homes in Central Ohio are a small-scale group living environment where people with disabilities can live in a comfortable home while learning independent living skills and experiencing new opportunities.
Each home offers a supportive, comfortable environment for three to five residents.
Those who live in these homes typically need more supports than they would receive in a Supported Living home. Hattie Larlham direct care employees assist all residents with community inclusion, meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, health care needs and other daily living necessities and interests.
Hattie Larlham furnishes each home to meet the needs of each resident. Every resident is encouraged to decorate their bedroom in the style of their choosing. Feeling comforted and engaged is our top priority for those who live in our community homes.
People supported in this program are encouraged to live, work and play in their community. Hattie Larlham will assist those served with exploring activities based on interest and desire. Hattie Larlham staff will also assist in introducing new activities and interests to residents.
These homes are licensed by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Hattie Larlham offers group living at five Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) residential homes in Cuyahoga and Summit counties. Each home is customized to meet the needs of our residents.
In addition to being fully wheelchair accessible, each home is outfitted with specialty equipment and features, such as chair lifts and custom bathing suites. Each home accommodates eight residents and promotes a clean, homelike, and personalized atmosphere.
Services provided at the group homes include nursing, direct care, and transportation services. Medical care and monitoring is overseen by a medical director and onsite nursing staff. Each group home provides nutritious home cooked meals from a menu developed by a licensed dietitian. Services provided to residents include total daily care and medication administration. Nutrition can be provided orally or by gastrostomy tube. Many, but not all, residents at our ICF homes are non-ambulatory.
Onsite laundry is also provided as well as an array of in-house and community recreational activities. Residents enjoy comfort-of-home amenities including: televisions, radios, iPads, books, communication devices, and adaptive equipment. Residents also have the opportunity to participate in a day program of their choosing and many attend one of the Hattie Larlham Constant Companions day programs located in the community.
Residents also enjoy on-site occupational, speech, and physical therapy services, including onsite fabrications, repairs and modifications to adaptive wheelchairs and equipment.

Hattie Larlham’s supported living homes are located throughout Northeast and Central Ohio. These homes are typically smaller settings, serving 2-4 adult residents.
Those who live in these homes direct the services they receive, which means each resident or their appointed guardian selects the services they wish to receive from a provider of their choosing. Hattie Larlham direct care staff support the independence of those who reside in the homes by assisting the persons served with community inclusion, meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, health care needs and other areas as needed.
Each home is decorated in the theme and style of the residents’ choosing. As roommates, residents discuss their ideas with one another and make decisions on the common space in the home. Bedrooms are decorated by each person based on their likes and interests.
People supported in this program are encouraged to live, work and play in their community. Hattie Larlham will assist those served with exploring activities based on interest and desire.
